Tech. Questions: 1989 200 TQ

Hi everyone,

I have some questions regarding my vehicle:

1. The neck on the radiator has a big chip in it.  It is the top neck of the
radiator and I was wondering if I need to replace the whole radiator or if the
neck can be supplied as a separate part.

2.  The head gasket is blown.  I am not sure if the head is warped (I do not
think so).  Regardless, someone on this list mentioned that you can get a new
head from Audi for $500.00.  Is this true?  If it is, can I go to any Audi
dealer and get this or can someone refer me to where I need to go to get this?

3.  The car needs front shocks.  What shocks do you recommend for the vehicle? What else do you recommend that I change if I am replacing the shocks?

4.  The car also needs rear control arm bushings and something called a Rear
adj. link?  Can someone explain what this is and also advise where I can get
one?  Also, what bushings do you recommend for the rear control arms?

5.  What is the actual time (not book time) that thes repairs should take?

Your help is greatly appreciated.  The work on the car begins next week and I
want to be prepared to do what the care needs now before I get further into the
winter.
