Re: Porsche list?

It used to be porschelist.org, but the owners of that name got
protective of it and it's now called rennlist.org. Depending on which
car you are interested in, it can be a wonderful list. It is useful to
know that some of the individual lists are relatively full of poseurs
and have a large volume of mail. I'm on the 914 list and it's great.
Leaving the 911 list cut my e-mail by 150-200 messages a day. There are
a number of individual model lists (they've expanded to include a BMW
list), an auction, classifieds, humor, a store for goodies, a parts
store, a racing sponsorship, and it's professionally run like you
wouldn't believe. They've won some industry awards, and are proudly
staying open throughout the upcoming weekend. Visit them at
www.rennlist.org. BTW, Porsche has opened it's own website
(porsche.net?, porschenet?), operated under the auspices of an east
coast dealer, and are trying to enter the fray. IMO, it's unlikely
they'll ever catch up with rennlist, either in quality, services, or
following. HTH, John
