Removing and installing camshaft oil seal

15-507 Set flywheel mark to top dead centre

Select a way of rotating the engine. On level ground, remove the spark plugs and engage fifth gear.
Remove the distributor cap, rotor arm and dust cover.
Use the lines scribed on the upper surface of the distributor wall and on the steel rotor for approximate flywheel alignment.
Set the 'zero' mark on the flywheel as shown.
This alignment should be checked occasionally as work proceeds.

17-242 Remove injector cooling shroud

Loosen the water pump retaining bolts.
Move the water pump to loosen the cam belt using a screwdriver inserted through the hole in the radiator shroud.
