Remove accessory drive belts
- Slacken and remove drive belts for alternator, air conditioning and hydraulic pump
- Detach hydraulic pump and lay to one side (hoses stay connected)
- Slacken off harmonic damper bolt (see 13-3)"
- Remove lower cam belt cover
Removing cam belt
- Slacken off waterpump bolts and rotate pump clockwise to loosen cam belt
- THE CRANKSHAFT MUST NOT BE ROTATED FROM THIS POINT ON
- Remove vibration damper with toothed sprocket
- Remove dipstick
- Drain oil
