[200q20v] Alternator noise over speakers!!

I installed a sony head unit with the curtchfield adaptor for the bose system 2 years ago and had the alternator whine also. Its definitly the ground. After trying everything I could think of, I ended paying a high end shop here in kc a couple of hours worth of labor to figure our how to accomplish a succesful ground. Everything has been perfect since then.
