My 200q20v surprised me this a.m. by not staying lit after I started it,
and then by only restarting if I used WOT. I had to let it sit in the yard
at 1K rpm or greater for two or three minutes before it would move without
dying as I let out the clutch. It would idle without my foot on the
go-pedal, but sort of hesitantly. After driving at ~50 for five minutes
and being encouraged to idle at 1K during stops for another five minutes,
it would idle OK, accelerate with jerky hesitations, etc. Finally
smoothed out after at least half an hour of operation. Car drove fine
Saturday, was not used Sunday, but we had several brief, but heavy,
thunderstorms with the proverbial buckets o' downpour Sat. nite and
Sun. Very humid this a.m. Am I in need of new wires or something?
