[200q20v] Switching to synthetic?

I would be surprised if you found any difference in oil consumption using
the same viscosity syn oil.   First, find the reason for the oil burning.
Do a compression check, without and then with oil added on top of the
piston, to determine if loss of compression, if any, is valves or rings.
The most likely cause is valve stem seals, which can be replaced insitu.
