I agree that the little anti-vibration device is way to small to affect
pulsation under braking.
Remember that my opinion is that UFO's pulsate not because of warpage, but
due more to some surface problem on the rotor. I had runout of less than
.001 inch and had pulsation. Turning the rotor stopped the pulsation even
with .005 inches of runout on the hub. In other words, it wasn't the runout
of the rotor or the hub causing the pulsating brakes. It was the surface of
the rotor being grippier part the way around. I wish I had some high
resolution photos of the rotors before they were turned. Maybe we could have
spotted a difference.
