Noisy A/C Compressor

I have alot of noise coming from the front of the radiator, especially in cold weather at start up. I assume it is the A/C Compressor or clutch. Does this sound right?  If this is the problem should I get a rebuilt w/ clutch? I noticed Blau sells them together and separate. Interesting that the two parts separate are cheaper. Is the clutch a pain to install? Thanx in advance.
