I didn't find any tricks. Unplug the wire, and maybe another nearby harness. It's fairly tight and dirty, but not very difficult. The only thing that helped me is the old gasket/oring trick of pre-lubing it with a just little bit of bar hand soap. Nice thing is that it's arranged so that when you swap it, there very little chance of any significant air bubble forming.

I've bought a new and was planning to install it but see that there is the usual forest of things in the way. Any suggestions of what has to be removed and if there are any tricks in getting the old one out.Patient is a 2001 1.8t.Thanks.Peter------------------------------_______________________________________________A4 mailing listA4 at audifans.comhttp://www.audifans.com/mailman/listinfo/a4End of A4 Digest, Vol 43, Issue 6*********************************
