I doubt many would disagree with you on modified cars. Unfortunately just
as few seem to have the pleasant experience owning an Audi that you have.
My former allroad was totally stock. While everything was covered under
warranty, no problem was ever fixed despite many attempts by the dealers and
many things were damaged during those attempts. I have owned three Audis
and sampled the abiloities of five dealers in a 300 mile radius. The have
ranged from barely average to almost criminally poor. Around here, most
Audi buyers are one time only. They love to drive the car, but are turned
off by poor dealer workmanship or problems over dealer/AoA attitudes. They
move to other marks never to buy an Audi again. My S4 has never been to an
Audi dealership and never will as long as I own it. It has been a far beter
car because of it and once I decided I would never use Audi's warranty, it
became an easy decision to mod away. It will, however, be my last.
I am glad to see at least one happy Audi owner. In my experience you are a
minority.
Ron
