[Biturbos4] Time to Move On...

No longer a b5 s4er (sold my avant a couple years ago,) but do have a b6 a4 beater. Anyway, I too had a rack leak (out the boot on the pass. Side) - replacement cost was excessive for a train station car (couldn't bring myself to drive the s4 to the station, hence the switch,) so I decided to try one of the stop leak products touted on Audi/quattroworld/zine and after bottle or two all has been dry, steering is unchanged in feel and it has been 6 months.
May be putting off the inevitable, but at 11 years and 140k (especially when you were considering selling as a project) what do you have to lose? (that said, what were you thinking $ wise for the project)
