Welp, I wondered about the claim to being an auto as well. The info came
from his daughter and I didn't feel like arguing...

it must be an incredibly rare car. first automatic quattro I've ever
heard of :-)
sounds like it just needs some reputable adjustments, maybe some rubber
bits, at worst a center bearing or driveshaft CV joint (replace with
used driveshaft basically)
I'd say - have them drive it up to Chris Semple at Force 5 in Bow NH -
he knows what he is doing and probably has any needed used parts on
hand! lessee, contact info... at the vendor list on the audifans web
site... should do it.
