i think hes smoking something.... at 175 each for the front pads (im
assuming these are UFO brakes) you can buy 2 G-60 rebuilt calipers and a
full set of performance pads AND slotted rotors..... im not sure what else
is required to put the G-60 cailper on the 91 200q but its defintaly ALOT
cheaper and its a good brake as well.... 44 each for rear pads?... that
sounds really high as well... you should be able to get pads for less than
that... check pep boys ect ect...or if you want performance pads you can pay
that much i would assume.... (still not sure as i dont have a 91 200q..) and
finally 280$ for shocks?... just the rears??????? thats gotta be bs... i
just priced a full set of Konis for my 5k and that was 500$... the Boge
Turbogas are 350$... the 280 has to be a dealer markup or something...

I dropped my '91 200Q off at my mechanic this morning to have the brakes
checked. He's quoting me $175 each for front pads, $44 each for rear pads,
and $280 each for rear shocks. He said the front rotors are "still
drive-able" because "you really don't want to know how much they cost..."
It's great being able to spank a 'Vette on a wet, leaf-covered road... but
it costs so much to do it!
I know we've been through this before. Any suggestions?
