AND much more expen$ive problems.  

Badly designed and problematic components are replaced by Audi with the
same thing under warranty.  Like the transmission seals, fuel gauges and
a few other "quirks"  on the newer models, Audi KNOWS that certain
components fail regularly at unaccepably short intervals, yet they choose
to replace said components with the SAME components, figuring that once
it's out of warranty it's not their problem, AND they have the added
bonus of after warranty/pre-aftermarket  parts profits.  ALOT better for
their bottom line than actually engineering a fix for the problem.   They
usually have to be backed into a wall and forced to find a real solution,
like they're trying to do now with the fuel sender fiasco.
Compared with my experience with other makes, Audi makes a great car, but
SUCKS at taking care of things after the sale is over.  On it's BEST day
Audi customer service doesn't even come close to Mercedes on their WORSE
day.
