I live in Southern Ontario just outside of Toronto. At this time of
year it is not uncommon to already have a couple inches of snow on the
ground. Sometimes not, but it is atleast cold enough to maintain snow if it
has fallen yet. By the end of November we usually have seen at least a
couple of light flurrys.
As of yet this season, we have not yet seen the commonly Canadian
blistering cold for more then a week. It has been brisk or even slightly
chilly, but over the last two weeks, we have had T-shirt weather on a
regular basis. In no way am I complaining, may the snow gods keep their
white fluffy crap to themselves just a little longer, but this is forcing me
to put off buying the winter tires for another couple of weeks. Normally
this would be good except that I've got the money now, my current tires are
balder then Kojak, and I kind of was looking forward to testing my less then
six month ownership of one 4k Q.
I think it's silly. All my freinds have put away their Good cars
that they could have kept out for what looks like another month. (Dodge
stealth VR-4 tuned by their sport tuning facility here locally, MX-6 owned
by Neve Cambells half brother, and other owners and thier assorted implants
and rods). If it were up to me, there would be no cold. But I live in
Canada, and was born next door to an igloo (Perpetuating a national
stereotype).
