Well the shop I had got my quote from said that they would sand/grin (prep
work) as well as take out all the little dents and what for about $1,600 and
he said that the used the best that can get. He also mentioned that most
German car come out with that type of paint. He told me the name, but I cant
remember what he said. I've seen come of the work they have done and it
looks really good. Unfortunatly the paint job thats on there right now is a
cheap 'o maco job so I'm reluctant to go back to them.
I might check out that shop in concord though. I've been wanting to take a
little road trip with my car as I have yet to take it on the highway. Also I
really dont have the flatbed option, so I also need the job to be somewhat
speedy. The shop I checked said it would take about 1 week which I could
live with. I realize if I do the prepwork myself it would be cheaper, but I
dont have the skills to do it. I would be to afraid of making the body worse
then better.
Thanks for the info,
Nick

p.s. if concord is near your house I would love to come down and get a ride
your 4ktq, and I'll see if my brother would want to come along. Also how is
your car doing anyhow?
