1984 4000 quattro

Does anyone have one of these (fully functional) in the Northeast that I 
could pop into for a ride?

I've never actually driven one, and since I am considering switching 
transmissions from an 87 to an 84 transmission, I'd like to know how the 
close ratio drivetrain shifts.  I'd bring the pizza for the drive.
