Hi Peter;
The next time this happens, give your dash a good whack on the top to see if
this temporarily fixes the problem. I had a similar problem on my '91 200q
which I traced to a bad solder joint on a ground connector on the instrument
panel circuit board, and a calibrated whack would temporarily restore the
connection. This is a fairly common problem on the 200q. The fix is to
remove the instrument panel and resolder the joint.
