Hi,

I was just wondering if any of you might have an idea as to how get the 
message "INSP" to stop flashing in the odometer slot of my '98 A4 1.8T. I 
*just* went to the dealer a couple days ago to have the 30,000 mile service 
done, and a few other things attended to. Is this message important, or just 
a reminder based on mileage?

It would be very inconvenient for me to return to the dealer (distance), but 
I will if some special tool must be used to reset the message.
