Seat swap...

Hello,
after a year of searching, I have finally found some leather/vinyl 
replacement seats for my 5ks. The question is: am I to assume that all non 
heated/non power seats are interchangable regardless of model year? Seats in 
question are from an 85 5000s...and I want to put them into my 88 
5000s...looks like they would slide right in and bolt up...am I wrong? Also 
"ass"uming that the door panels would be the same, even though the arm rests 
appear to be a little lower...it was dark out so I could be wrong...whats 
the general consensus on this? Feel free to reply to list or to my
