S8 in Ronin

For film/tv production, most all sounds are foley-ed and/or edited in. Even 
voices, depending on recording conditions while the actors are, um, acting.

So if it wasn't synthetic, it may have been recorded separately (same car, 
maybe different car, maybe not car at all), then manipulated and put in the 
track.
