did I route the inector shroud line wrong? (4ktq)

I've been having a persistant problem with a high idle on my 4ktq.  I went
up to Nate's place to see if two heads were better than one and it turned
out that by pinching the hose I have going from the turbo (boost) side of
the intake to the injector shroud (and the isv), the idle would drop back to
normal.  At the time I was running a crankcase breather filter so the
thought was that unmetered air was getting sucked in under vacuum through
the crankcase breather filter.. But I today removed the filter and rerouted
the hose over to the intake.. but still have a high idle!!!  Is there some
kind of a restrictor or something in the stock 5kt IM setup that prevents
this from happening?
