'85 urq FS

Well

All this talk about never seeing an urq on the road, and another lister
lamenting an unfinished urq project of his own reminded me of this car.

Here in Norwalk Ct is an '85 for sale. I heard of it from the owner of Last
Minute Racing in Stratford.  I talked to the owner briefly.  I did a drive
by and look see yesterday.  The owner wasn't there so I didn't get the hood
open or hear it run or anything.

The car is rough.  Dark red. A sort of Burgundy color.  Interior is black
but the seats are grey leather.  The paint is in need of more than love.
The hood is a little bent on the corners.  Pass side b-pillar looks like
someone broke in or tried to one time.  The deck spoiler is disintegrating
in spots.  It has quad headlights, shouldn't this car have aero lights? 
The dash was not digital.  Would an '85 be one of those talkign dashs?  Did
we get that in the states?

Milage is 164K, I didn't think to get the VIN.  The car has steels/snow on
it right now.  Owner has the 15x8 ronals but says 2 are bent a bit.  Also
has some other alloys for it.

Owner is Ed Wheeler and can be reached at 203 912 8222.  He said he was
asking $5000.  It seems like a good project for a track car, forget the
perfect resto.  But maybe other urqs I've drooled over once looked like
this.
