200 Flywheel being used (was It's official, a 2.3 4000 q..)

OK,

Since I already shelled out for the ridiculous, I'm wondering why do I need
to lop off the crank trigger thingies and balance. Can't I just leave them?
Isn't one or more of these used on the 87.5 CISE3 system I will be
installing when I do the swap?

I'll take a second look, but I thought the pin thingies were on the flywheel
I obtained with the 2.3l NG engine, and were in bacically the same
locations.

Hope I don't need to do any machine work, as that is what I was trying to
avoid in the first place.

[Just lighten the stock 4kq flywheel, it's far cheaper.
If you use a 200 flywheel you have to lop off the crank trigger thingies
on the back and have it balanced. Then you have to use the hideously
expensive 200 clutch. Simply isn't worth it when you can shave several
pounds off the stock flywheel and get basically the same thing.
