gasoline prices/fuel economy

Oh, a couple more more things - I always run 93/94 Octane.
My timing is also a tad advanced over stock map due to combined chip(QLCC)
and resistor(set for 4kohm - played with this and found to be optimal).
This combination allows me to get 18psi boost which I have dialed in by
regulator (aka. Schrapnel knob). Any more advance/lower resistor value or
boost/via knob and there might be detonation.
Car is kept in perfect tune. Oil change every 5kmi with Castrol Syntec 5w50
and OEM filter.
Summer economy is generally better than winter economy, except on long trips
with engine warmed up, then it is the other way around. Best economy and
performance is in rain or heavy fog = water injection?

'87 5kcstqw - will be posting some more pictures soon of knob setup and
other mods.

I do only a little better than you Taka, about 20 MPH around town, and,
as I recently posted, 25 on a 150 mile milk run trying to be frugal (65
MPH, boost 1.0 or less). I don't get it either. (I did check and winter
fuel is still in effect aound here.
