My first Audi had the same problems from running
overly rich.  I used Ventil Sauber from Lubromoly with
good results.  First dose was added to a full fuel
tank with marginal results.  Second time I added it to
about 2-3 gallons in tank and ran the car hard.  At
times it will idle poorly because of the high
chemical/crud concentrations, but it did an excellent
job of cleaning the combustion chambers.  Your
experiences may vary.
