drive-by-wire

Drive-by-wire is the system were the throttle cable is replaced by a
potentiometer on the pedal and a motor to control the throttle venturi. In
addition, the pot.meter on the pedal also gives signals to the ECU, which lets
the injectors squirt accordingly to pedal position and negine rpms etc.
