Cracks are actually quite normal, there is a factory spec. for what is acceptable and what is not based on the size of the crack. I would bet your cracks are likely ok, any local machine shop could rebuild your head for under $300 quite easily. You shouldn't need to dump a ton of money on this unless your head really is bad, which then you can get a used head and start over.

Cool, this applies to me as well. I saw the cracks and thought the
head was finished, never even thought of checking the manual to see if
this is acceptable. As per the Bentley; "cracks between the valve
seats or between valve seat and first threads of the spark plug
holes, can be reused and refaced without reducing the service life if
the cracks do not exceed a width of 0.5mm (0.020").

Guess I just need valves then, that's a load off. I hope.
