Waterpump pliars on brake pistons

Just reading this reminded me of the strap wrench set I bought at Sears the
other day. I used the larger one to get the pulley off a Type 44 hydraulic
pump (couldn't loosen the bolts and the strap wrench was closer than the
impact gun). The smaller strap wrench probably would work just great for
turning the brake piston and would leave room to keep the C-clamp in place too.
Regarding the pistons with the notches instead of the hex-hole, Baum makes
a tool to go on an extension rod or a ratchet wrench that has knobs to fit
into VW/Audi notched pistons. Lets you lean on the wrench and twist the
piston at the same time, eliminating the need for a C-clamp.
