[RS2list] Valet switch?

folks,

i leave my car every week at the airport where it is "valet parked".  it has
bothered me for some time that i do not have a method of "limiting" the
performance of the car when it is in the hands of pimply faced parking
attendants.

however, the thought occurs to me that i could use the "trailer aware"
feature of the rs2, to do the job.  for those not familiar with this
feature, it is a separate controller which detects the presence of a trailer
on the car, and then instructs the altitude sensor to tell the motronic that
the car is operating at 4,000m.  this limits the boost of the car, with a
maximum power available of 169kw, rather than the 232kw normally.

in order to get this to work, i'll need to spend a little bit of time with
the wiring diagrams (which i've posted in the files area for those
interested), and then get a switch/relay hooked up to mimic the trailer
connection, to allow me to enable "valet mode".

what i'd also like to do is to move the rev limit down to 4,500rpm as well,
but can't figure out how to do that...

any other input/ideas?
