Searching for type 44 q gas tank - update

Found one! Been sitting around for about a year and a half after
redo...in a *dry* spot. $400 Canabucks. New is two grand
Canabucks...breath taking. I'm farming this out for r&r as I don't
have a lift or garage and it's getting too damn cold to work outside
on German steel. That brings the parts to ~$1400 in the past month.
I'll see if I can redo the old one so it will be available for some
other poor fool down the road. I was seriously thinking "time to get
out." Audi...how do I love thee? Not too many 44 q's on the road in NS
any more. Weren't many from the get go.
