oblivious Audi owners

Is it just me?  Every once in a while, I will spot another old Audi
in traffic.  Today, for example, I pulled up to next to an identical
4000 S at a stoplight. Same color, wheels, interior, everything.
Does the other guy notice? no. Doesn't even look over.  This happened
several times in my 200 also, but this is understandable, as it had
an ugly scar on the side.  These people can't be listers.  Back when
I drove an MGB, every other british car short of a Jag would honk or
wave.  It was almost expected.  So, if you see an old red 4000 with a
spot of primer on the right side, give a wave.  Unless you're driving
an S8, you   need your free hand for the cell phone.
