Indeed.  How bizarre.  Pumps cost so little, and have to be dismounted
anyway so the surface behind them can be cleaned for a good seal after
adjustment.  I also believe there may be something I call "disturbed
pump syndrome" - where the sods fail on principle within 10,000 miles
if yoy _don't_ change them.  Idler roller too, except on the first
belt change of all.

I certainly wouldn't take the risk on a 20V engine.  There is _NO_
exchange price break on that head from Audi.
