Ring Any Bells?

Haudi,
When my car suffered from this (intermittent, still ran fine),
our North-American Audi-demi-god ScottMo suggested tweaking with
the distributor location. There's a "window" that the ECU checks
for agreement betwixt the halls on the distributor and the crank
(TDC pin). If it's outside the window, this code might pop. The
fix: rotate the distributor ~5 degrees from its present location.
Drive for a few weeks (if it starts). Code? Rotate 10 degrees the
other way. Naturally, YMMV, but it worked for me.
