Question about 1998 A6 Avant wheels/tires

With the 215/55-16, you will have a 1.7% error in your speedometer reading
(it will read low by 1.7%), as well as affect the trip computer and odometer
accuracy.  It's up to you whether that's acceptable or not.

The factory A6 2.7t stock wheels are indeed the 215 size, but I surmise
that the speedometer is calibrated to match.

Note, though, that the 1.7% figure is based on theory.  Actual tire sizes
vary somewhat from manufacturer to manufacturer as well as model to model.
