FS: 4000 parts

Is there any chance this instrument cluster would fit and work in a 1988 90q??  

My instrument cluster went completely dark soon after replacing some of the original 0.9w lights with the 1.2w bulbs that VW now provides.  Maybe it is just a coincidence, but....
