Greatest Driving Moments

For me (one of the) greatest drivin moments was racing
around a track (Thruxton in the U.K.) in a Ferrari
355.  VERY big grins all around there was :)

My wife bought it for me for my birthday - the driving
course that is - not the Ferrari - I should be that
lucky! (or rich hehe)

All I can say is it is the best car I've _ever_ driven
- in the wet on a fast, off-camber corner ... the
MGF's were four wheel sliding off the corner at
45-50mph... I took the Ferrari around it at close to
120mph in 5th and put the foot down on the way out and
it just flew!

I was passing Formula Renault (open wheelers) too. :)

Over all too soon but I will never forget the sound of
that beautiful V8 just behind me.

Had to share that one.

(Oh and I've been looking at a Passat too - fully
loaded 2.8 V6 4-motion/quattro.  about 20K cheaper
than comparable A6.)
