'87 Avant...Rear wiper Help

    Mark,

    I agree with paul's comments, as you suggest someone has probably put a
saloon coloumn switch set in.
 You may be able to check this by removing the sterring col. upper cover and
looking to see if the multiway connector has some wires into it that dont
agree with whats on the pins coming out of the back of the switch, but i'm
not sure if any of the pins are missed out for a saloon switch, if you see
what I mean.

    I did a bit for the archives when I fixed my own rear wipe, it may help,
