It *should* be fine, provided that the battery contains enough charge
to get you going for that long.  Reduce electrical consumption to a
minimum (don't use the A/C, lights, stereo, defogger, etc).  Cars
nowadays use a large amount of electrical power just to run (ignition,
ECU, fuel pump, radiator fan, etc), so having a spare battery and tools
onboard might not be a bad idea (or a AAA membership) :-).  You might
want to experiment with this first at a non-critical time first,
so you don't get stranded on your way to work.
