you may be right, i really don't know why Audi didn't do it on these cars i
was looking at a type 89 today and it just makes so much sense. Wife on the
other hand isn't keen at all on me doing, going on about ridigty and
insurance yadda, yadda, yadda............

This sounds like a REALLY good time to think about Huw's unboltable core
support mod.  did it to my 4ktq and I'm very sorry I didn't do it when I was
installing the engine.
