4kq distributor vacuum advance replacement--info needed

Hi folks,
I have the shiny replacement here in my hand.

Searched Bentley, Haynes, the archives, and Huw's, Ti's, and Brendan's sites 
for clues on how to do this before I dig in.  Couldn't find any.

Is this replacement just a simple "pull out," or must I first remove the 
distributor and/or the trigger plate?

If someone posts a detailed procedure to the list, this will get it into the 
archives.
