How well put. It is much easier to admit you screwed up and move on than
to feel the pain of being robbed. Just be careful and seek the wisdom of
fellow-listers and everything seems to work out okay. Exactly why I do
the same...except here the typical shop labor rates are more like $85.00
(and up) per hour. I farm out only what I absolutly have to due to lack
of tools or equipment (which doesn't happen often). Ownership of any
older high miles cars (we own three) without doing my own work would not
be an option--new would almost make more sense. Oh, and I *love*
Pick-N-Pull.
