why not just copy it but use a thicker square hunk of steel then? if
you are worried...
you could take the factory brackets, have a competent welder put them
on, and get your square stock, cut it and drill it to fit the mounting
holes.
move the battery, lower the cruise pump, and you can fit a pretty fat
bar in there. if you want fancy bends to dodge things, your welder
could easily make that, too.

Contact Sewickley Car Store, 412 741 6400, www.sewickleycars.com They have
access to front and rear tower braces for UrQ and other Audis. I have seen
them on cars they built, very good fit, and factory part numbers.
