Hello Listers,

In yesterday's heat 91 degree F heat at 85% RH, I ended with two problems
with the 200.

1. The major one first:	Drive from Westchester to Nanuet, 16 miles in
approximately 45 minutes, speeds from 2 - 70 or so. Lots of stop and go,
A/C on full blast.

Stop to pick up a few things at the store, as I wait at the light to turn
the corner to the store, Autocheck beeps and the thermometer pops up.
Immediately check temp gauge (was running in the lower 1/3 most of the
day, including this final trip), it was about to the 60% mark, which
surprized me about the autocheck warning since the temp didn't seem too
extreme (on the gauge). Immediately shut off the A/C, veriified the
cooling fan was running, didn't have time to turn on the heat as the line
was moving.

I parked the car, cooling fan running, After-run pump and injector fan
started up, noticed no steam, but my driver's side front fender was blue
and there was antifreeze dripping on the ground. Opened the hood, no
broken hoses as far as I could tell, cap was on.

Go into store for about 20 minutes. Come out. Fan still running. Oops,
forgot distilled water. Return about 5 minutes later with a gallon of
distilled. Pour in about 1 quart to top things off. Clean off fender and
check for leaks on ground. No leaks. Have to add about another quart.

Drive home (2 miles, medium stop and go), no incidents, checked car after
I get home, still no leaks, but fluid is down about 3/4 inch below fill
line (probably due to cooling after shut down).

Any clues? (I'm suspecting it's the original radiator cap, radiator
replaced in May)

2. On a field trip in the morning (still about 84 degrees already!),
after a half hour run, turn off car, waited about 10 minutes for the rest
of the group, get in car, clutch pedal on floor. Hard to shift, but got
it to move to the destination 1/2 mile away, pedal still not coming up. I
know it's hydraulic, but which is it, the Clutch Slave or MC? I suspected
the slave and ran the cooling fan after the AR system stopped to help
keep the engine compartment cool. This question is more curiosity rather
than anything else as I know both should be replaced at the same time.
