letting car sit for a month...

In over ten years of military flying, my various cars have all sat for lots
of months through Michigan winters and Texas summers. The heat can do a lot
of damage to an interior, sun shields are great. I always left the tank
full to minimize condensation. Rarely did anyone's car fail to start when
we got back from a month's deployment. One of my synchros had a hornets
nest building in the fender in front of the driver's door. After four hours
on the highway, they were all gone.
