I just called my shop, Universal Powder Coat in Portsmouth NH (603 436
0506 talk to Scott, president) to verify and there should be no
problem. As I said, I have been running powder coated oil pans and cam
covers for years now, I've seen 150 deg C oil in the coupe repeatedly,
and experienced no problems. There is at least overspray inside that
pan and cover. My intake mfld shows no signs of problems, either, even
where it is bolted to the head.
