A/C is a good thing

<<<<Actually A/C reduces the crime and accident rate when used as needed.
(Hot
people with no relief from heat have little concern for others, there are
two big robbery/theft seasons in our city, Christmas time and the middle of
summer.) It must not get very hot for very long where you guys are from,
but when it's over 95 degrees and over 50% humidity, (especially for
several weeks in a row) A/C is the only thing that makes it better. Simply
rolling down the windows just gets you a blast of hot, moist air that
provides virtually no relief except for venting the even hotter air forming
in the greenhouse of you car.

In fact, I'll go so far as to say that of all of inventions, A/C is one of
my favorites.

There you go being logical: which means (at least to me) getting solutions
that deal with the following perpetual questions -
1) If I can be comfortable, why not at ANY cost that I can afford;
2) If I want it, I can have it;
3) No such thing as character building, just sweaty bad tempered people.
this why our ancestors kept going to war. They were so darn uncomfortable!

Kidding aside of course - If good ergonomics are performance enhancers, why
are 'not racing cars equipped with A/C?
Or maybe we are so inferior in species to racing drivers, that we cant
survive a trip to the beach/office/movie or date without A/C whereas the
superior NASCAR/ALMS/GP driver can perform at peak levels for hours with
noise, vibration harshness and ferocious heat. Makes you think about how
weak our ability to focus has become.
