If you want to go this way stick with a big name brand (Phillips, Osram,
GE, Sylvania). The others are seem to be pretty much cheap asian stuff
(even the PIAA). In my opinion, no halogen bulb is worth $50+
Since all halogens produce pretty much the same gross output per watt
(despite claims - there are no free lunchs in electronics). The useful
amount of light produced is largely a function of accurate filament
placement. This is where the fly by night korean shops fall flat.
