I had a windshield done a year ago. It's amazing how many
things can be messed up in the process. Review the Bentley
regarding preparation, etc. It will give you useful insight. For
example, it says to remove the interior A-pillar trim. Now I
know why. When the glass apes take their knives to the old
adhesive, they will cut up those pieces. You'll only be able to
see the full extent of the damage from the outside.

Other things, but by no means all things that can be damaged:
exterior paint on the A-pillars and the hood. (They could have
used protective tape over the paint. But noooo.) Sliced weather
seals on the sides of the air plenum. Excess adhesive here,
there, everywhere.

Be afraid.
